Reduce your carbon footprint

You still have a month in which to prepare your luggage before coming to participate in The North Face® Ultra-Trail of Mont Blanc®. Don't forget anything, really do not forget anything. Take flippers, an inflatable boat… just in case, three bikes, the games console and of course all your running equipment in triplicate. It is going to take at least one truck to get all this to Chamonix, but no matter … Finally, no, not completely. If thinking about the lightness of your pack during the race can still wait for a while, that of your global lightness begins today. Think minimalist, it is fashionable. Think reduction, of reducing your carbon footprint, come to "Cham" as a chamois, a light step and a clean engine. Here is the presentation of the measures which we have set up to facilitate your task. It works very well every year, take advantage of it!

Come to Chamonix :

Think about Co-pooling :
No, car sharing is not synonymous with constraints and rigidity. Well organized, it can be a friendlier alternative, more economic and less risky than the travelling alone.
With Petzl, we developed a site of intuitive and effective car sharing, click here !!
So you will be able to organise your car sharing easily with other runners of The North Face® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc®.

Behaviour

By registering for one of the 4 The North Face® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® events, the runners commit themselves to respecting certain values such as equity, sharing and solidarity. It goes without saying that for a perfect party, everybody has to assume these universal values.

The magic of the Ultra-Trail® mainly due to the people who make it flourish and in the magnificent place in which it takes place, it is also essential to respect:

- All people (runners, inhabitants of the valley, volunteers, organisation) without whom nothing could take place.
- The environment so as to find it always intact in the years to come.

Accompanying persons' Guide

This year, accompanying persons may access a specific guide recapitulating all the information concerning them (transport, animations, advantages, following the race etc). To download it, rendezvous at www.ultratrailmb.com
